According to reports making rounds on social media, Fantana’s mother, Dorcas Affo-Toffey may lose her seat because she’s apparently an American citizen.
Hon. Dorcas Affo-Toffey won back the Jomoro Constituency for the NDC in the recent parliamentary elections after the party lost the seat to the NPP in 2016.

However, news making rounds indicates that she’s has committed an offence and may soon have to face the law because she holds American citizenship.

‘As of 7/12/2020 when she was voted as a Member of Parliament in a Ghanain constituency, she was still and remained a American citizen. You know that’s a crime as per the constitutuion of Ghana, right?’
