Father of Nollywood actress Regina Daniels, Barrister Jude Ojeogwu has given an explanation as to why he decided to let go of his well-documented grudge against his daughter’s husband, Ned Nwoko in order to finally smoke the peace pipe.
Barrister Ojeogwu who was known to have fiercely opposed his young daughter’s marriage to the wealthy businessman and politician was seen at the naming ceremony of the couple’s young son in Abuja yesterday.

According to Mr. Ojeogwu who spoke to journalists on the sidelines of the event, the birth of the baby made him reconcile with his billionaire son-in-law for the sake of peace, joy, and happiness.
“The birth of this child has answered the question (about the controversy); everybody craves for peace, joy, and happiness. I have accepted everything,” he said.
“I feel very happy having a grandchild and that is why I am here. I traveled all the way from Lagos to this place just to celebrate with the family.

“I told him (Nwoko) and the mother to call him Ifechukwude which means what God has written.”
